ATTENTION ALL CLUBS
If you are a Tax Exempt Organization, IRS Code 501(c) (1-6), for Internal Revenue Services purposes, your filing requirements have changed. (Please don’t confuse “Tax Exempt” with state sales taxes. In this case, “Tax Exempt” refers to income tax. Therefore, this information applies to virtually all clubs.)
Previously Form 990 had to be filed if gross receipts were over $25,000. Now form 990-N will have to be filed regardless of income. The new form will soon be available.
